The University's Finance Department is arranged into a number of functional teams with one of these being Payroll. The role of Payroll Supervisor is to ensure the smooth running and processing of the monthly payrolls adhering to strict deadlines and statutory and audit regulations whilst supporting and developing the Payroll team. Utilising
iTrent and other IT systems to ensure accurate and timely salary payments. The post holder will work closely with a number of teams and individuals across the University including HR & OD which requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The Payroll Supervisor will report directly to the Payments Manager and will be responsible for the day to day supervision of the payroll team.
You will hold or by studying for a relevant payroll qualification (CIPP) with at least three years' experience of working within a payroll environment including supervision of staff. The post holder will have experience with MHR iTrent payroll system along with well developed skills in Microsoft Office programmes (Word, Excel, Outlook).
