An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in the newly developed Anatomy Learning Centre within the University. This facility is managed within the Faculty of Medicine, Health and Social Care and designed to support the opening of the Kent and Medway Medical School (KMMS). The Faculty has many health and social care programmes including undergraduate and post graduate professional courses and post graduate medical programmes.
The Faculty wishes to appoint a Senior Specialist Technician to support the Anatomy Learning Centre provision in our full cadaveric anatomy lab. You will have the opportunity to work alongside a team of anatomy educators and the Technical Director managing some of the day to day running of the Anatomy Learning Centre and the development of various anatomy curriculums which will produce work-ready graduates that can practise and research for society’s benefit.
The post holder will maintain and manage some of the running of the Anatomy Learning Centre and support the delivery of practical sessions integrated with the curriculum to students of relevant programmes working with Academic staff as the subject matter experts. The post holder will bring extensive anatomy expertise to assist lecturers, support students and ensure the maintenance of facilities and preparation for practical sessions is undertaken. Experience in a similar role is essential. This post reports to the Technical Director of the Anatomy Learning Centre.
