The Faculty and School wishes to appoint an inspirational academic to lead the development and delivery of the new inclusive engineering and built environment programmes at the School of Engineering, Technology and Design. This is part of the Kent & Medway Engineering, Design, Growth and Enterprise (EDGE) Hub vision.
We require a Director to join our growing dynamic, inclusive, diverse and motivated team to:
They will be expected to have excellent interpersonal skills, a polymath engineer (by education /training/work experience) with the capability to support the Head of School as a member of the School Executive Team.
The successful candidate will be expected to be responsible:
Applicants should have a track record of programme development and delivery for undergraduate, postgraduate and apprenticeship programmes. Also, accreditation of programmes by professional bodies. Engagement in Engineering Subject research or Engineering Education Research or Knowledge Exchange activities.
This is an exciting opportunity to help grow the engineering courses provision and develop new courses in the built environment, leveraging the Faculty’s inclusive engineering facilities in the newly opened Verena Holmes Building. This position will provide opportunities to work with a wide range of partners to transform engineering education in the region and beyond.
