Background of department/role
Canterbury Christ Church University is recognised as a leader in education, research and enterprise that supports the South East region’s communities, businesses and economic growth. The post will report to the Alumni Relations Manager and support the Graduate Futures Department, which provides leadership of the University’s strategic aims in relation to graduate employment, careers and employability (including student entrepreneurship and enterprise), alumni relations and philanthropic and corporate fundraising. You will support the growth of our communications and raise the visibility of our work with our key stakeholders, including current students, alumni, the local business community, potential donors and staff.

The role will involve developing and managing a wide range of communications channels and activities, contributing to the ultimate goal of increasing alumni and student engagement with the department.
The post holder will be a skilled and diplomatic communicator, champion of innovative approaches, relationship management and continual improvement led by knowledge, data insights and market best practice.
The role will be based in Canterbury and may involve travel throughout Kent and Medway.
