The Role
We are currently seeking an Advice Casework Coordinator to support the ambitions of the Students’ Union.The Advice Casework Coordinator has responsibility for advice casework at Christ Church Students’ Union, supporting students with queries related to their wellbeing and academic life, particularly those who encounter difficulty with their academic endeavours.You will coordinate individual casework of an academic nature, offering impartial and confidential advice, representation, and assistance, ensuring there is relevant support for students in appropriately presenting their case and representing them to the University whenever necessary.
The Person
You will be a passionate advocate with the ability to work with a variety of students in supporting them to achieve their goals. You will be able to interpret complex policies and datasets to craft evidence-based arguments, with an excellent eye for detail. You will have excellent negotiation skills with the ability to influence and overcome issues in a constructive and positive manner. You will be highly motivated, positive and resourceful, with the ability to work independently and with discretion.
